Comment :

The work is conceived in one movement. The part entrusted to the instrumental ensemble is like a weaving made from simple and short patterns, which are submitted to a gradual amplification. Without speaking of development, they are perpetually transforming and enriching themselves. Thus the flute, confined at the beginning in a low register, widens the field of its evolutions, until reaching the high register at the end of the piece.
